Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 June 2026
These terms govern your use of QR Grove (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service is provided "as is"
QR Grove is offered free of charge and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated QR codes will be suitable for every scanner, printer, or use case. You use the Service at your own risk.
You are responsible for your QR destinations
You are solely responsible for the content, links, and destinations you encode in any QR code created with the Service, and for where dynamic codes point at any time. You must have the right to use any URL or content you encode. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the destinations of codes created by users. If a code leads somewhere harmful, unlawful, or misleading, that is the responsibility of the person who created and controls it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- create codes that point to malware, phishing pages, or fraudulent content;
- distribute spam, or link to illegal goods, services, or material;
- infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
- harass, defraud, or deceive people, including through misleading redirects;
- abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure.
We may remove codes, block requests, or restrict access at our discretion to enforce these terms or to protect the Service and its users. Because dynamic codes rely on our redirect service, we cannot guarantee they will remain available indefinitely; for permanence, use a static code.
Dynamic codes and edit tokens
When you create a dynamic code you receive a secret edit token. You are responsible for keeping it confidential. Anyone holding the token can change that code's destination. We cannot recover a lost token and are not liable for changes made by anyone who obtains it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QR Grove and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
